Library

The Triangle Weavers Guild Lending Library contains about 600 titles on subjects including weaving, dyeing, spinning, tapestry, felting, knitting, basketry and other surface design arts. The library features books, periodicals, DVDs and videos, and weaving samples, which are available to members in good standing.
  • The library is located in the Triangle Fiber Arts Studio (TFAC), and it is open during all drop-in hours.
  • A digital list TWG Library Collection is available here (click here to view the PDF). Printed copies are available at the TFAC and at the library cart during our monthly meetings at the Seymour Center.
  • Members can request books to be delivered to the monthly guild meetings at the Seymour Center by completing the Library Request Form (click here).  Requests for materials should be submitted by Monday before the guild meeting on Thursday. There is no limit on the number of books that can be requested.
  • Our normal check-out period is 30 days. Books can be returned to the TFAC during drop-in hours or at monthly guild meetings at the Seymour Center.
  • In addition to the circulating collection, there are also reference materials available for use during drop-in hours at the TFAC. These materials are on the bookshelves in the main studio room.
  • Let the librarians know what resources you'd like to see in our library! Feel free to email one of us or recommend an item using the Library Request Form (click here). We would be happy to consider your suggestions when adding to our collection.
