About Our Guild
Triangle Weavers, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation organized in 1972 providing community outreach and shared learning experiences to those engaged in fiber arts. The Guild's mission is to support fiber artists at every level of experience. Our membership includes over 250 members from beginning to expert weavers and artisans. The Triangle Weavers Guild is a member of the Handweavers Guild of America and the Mid-Atlantic Fiber Association (MAFA).
Membership is open to anyone interested in weaving, dyeing, spinning, felting, knitting, basketry, surface design, or other fiber arts. General membership meetings feature educational programs given by noted speakers and textile artists, and these meetings are open to the public.

Yearly dues of $40 entitle members to participate in all Guild activities, e.g., workshops, classes and other learning opportunities, study groups, and exhibitions. Members also have library privileges, receive the yearbook, monthly newsletters, and weekly emails, and can rent looms and equipment.
Guild members are active in the community, participating in many outreach and educational activities through the year.
The Guild's Triangle Fiber Arts Center (TFAC) is a place where lovers of fiber arts can gather to learn, share and socialize.
