One warp, four scarves. The warp for these scarves was 40/2 linen. The structure is Bronson lace - actually "turned" Bronson, as there are warp and weft floats on both sides. Each scarf was woven with different colors and treadlings. The green one was woven with 20/2 silk. The other three were woven with 40/2 or 16/1 linen. December 2022

Two reversible fabric baskets for my desk using pieces of my handwoven fabric (cotton and acrylic blend commercial yarns) and Shibori dyed cotton fabric made in Kelly Crispin's workshop earlier this summer. July 2022
Sharing these sweet little change purses I made from my weaving. The cloth was woven on my Saori Piccolo loom, with a black wool warp and an assortment of various yarns from my stash for the weft. The cloth has fusible interfacing for stability and the purse is lined with colorful cotton fabric. April 2022

Eller Girls at Masonic Home for Children, Oxford, NC (Mary Roper)
Weave Got Joy! is one of the spring projects leading into Mother's Day. The girls (ages 5 - 12) wove these lovely pillow covers in late March 2022 on Cricket looms donated by TWG. They chose the yarn donated by members of the TWG and others. Then they made a color map planning their warp and weft and wove the fabric themselves. When they finished the fabric, Mary Roper (TWG member) had them choose the fabric for the back, and sewed the covers for them. The ladies are thrilled with the result and want to weave more pillow covers soon! The tags on the pillows say "Weave Got Joy" on the front, and on the back, "100% Handwoven with Joy! By: ____________________" with the email address of the girls' cottage on campus. April 2022 |

This tapestry is called “I am Light and I am Strong”. Each panel is 12’ X 33”. It is installed at the UNC Rex Cancer Center at 2605 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh. The center is now open to patients Monday-Friday.
I wove these panels one at a time on my Macomber loom. The weft is wool (mostly from Norse Fjord Fiber) with a linen warp. It took about eight weeks to actually weave, and the entire project was done over a six-month period, from design to hanging.

This tapestry was inspired by a photo of the Smoky Mountains and is 11" by 27" The warp is cotton seine twine, and the weft is all fine and medium weight wool yarn from Weavers Bazaar. It is mounted on a wood slat with a strip of velcro, so it will "float" on the wall.

Tapestry “Sunday Morning,” inspired by one of the sun pictures from the TV show “Sunday Morning,” which I have watched for years. The warp is cotton seine. Weft is all wool – Harrisville Highland and Paternayan. I added the blue sky to cool it down. Tapestry is mounted on linen wrapped foam board. November 2021 |

These towels were woven on a 16-Inch Kromski Presto rigid heddle loom with a 10-dent rigid heddle. The warp was mostly Yarn Bee Rainbow Wrapsody brand (doubled in the warp, with a few quadrupled) plus additions of Sugar and Cream or "I Love This Cotton" . One warp used Yarn Bee Rainbow Wrapsody in Peacock with additions of purple Sugar and Cream . The weft was 3.75/3 cotton in Oxford Grey. The other warp used Yarn Bee Rainbow Wrapsody in Cornucopia with additions of I Love This Cotton orange, and purple. The weft was 6/2 pink daisy. September 2021 |

These are pillows I just finished for my couch. The usual - - recycled yarn. I designed the pattern. The pattern is from Landis Valley Linen.. I’m not sure how much the finished pattern resembles what I started with! One back is just a variation on that without a border. The other back is rigid heddle. Because of the slipperiness of some of the yarn and the long floats, I used light weight iron-on interfacing on the patterned weave sides. Surprisingly pleased with the results! August 2021 |
Sharon Grubb I made this runner in Warp Rep for a friend's birthday. Her home has gray walls with lots of artwork in bold colors which I used for my inspiration, taking me far outside my usual range of colors. The warp is 8 colors of 5/2 perle cotton; the thick weft is 4 strands of black Peaches & Creme cotton and the thin weft is one strand of black 10/2 perle cotton. While I borrowed ideas for arranging the blocks from a number of examples I found on the internet, the final design of blocks and color selections were my own. July 2021 |
Donna Eash Silver Linings Shawl pattern by Tammy Bast from Holiday 2020 edition of Easy Weaving with Little Looms. Woven on 25" Schacht Flip using a hack of 15 dent Ashford Heddle. Warp is Findley Juniper Moon Farms in Dove. Weft is same in Greyhound. 19" x 85". Leaving the fringe loose. It's SO soft. June 2021 |

The scarf was woven on a Rigid Heddle Loom with handspun yarn. The warp yarn is spun from roving from Fiddlehead Fibers in Pittsburgh, PA and is Merino/ Corriedale. The weft is Alpaca, origin unknown. Both yarns were spun in 2020 as spinning covid projects. The weave is a plain weave, done on a 10 dent on a rigid heddle. April 2021 |

This is a cotton scarf woven on a rigid heddle loom with a 10 dent heddle. The inspiration fiber was spun (by Pattie Lamb) with analogous blue colors. I created a wrap with blues and greens and picked two complementary orange hues. For my second wrap I experimented with Fibonacci numbers to create the warp sequence. Ultimately I decided to restrict the warp to the blues and greens, and those colors were repeated in the weft along with touches of the two orange hues for accents. April 2021 |
