The Triangle Weavers Guild Lending Library contains nearly 500 titles on subjects including weaving, dyeing, spinning, tapestry, felting, basketry and other surface design arts. The library features books, periodicals, DVDs and videos, and weaving samples. These are available to members in good standing.
The library is located in the Triangle Fiber Arts Studio (TFAC), and it is available to members during drop-in hours. To view a list of all materials in the Triangle Weavers Guild Lending Library, click here. Printed copies are available at the TFAC and at the library cart during our monthly meetings at the Seymour Center.
In addition to the circulating collection, there is also a reference collection available for use during drop-in hours at the TFAC. These items are located on the bookshelves in the main studio room.
Members can request books to be delivered to the monthly guild meetings at the Seymour Center by emailing guild librarians at firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests for materials should be submitted by Monday before the guild meeting on Thursday. There is no limit on the number of books that can be requested. If a book is currently checked out, we will let you know.
Our normal check-out period is 60 days. Books can be returned to the TFAC during drop-in hours or at monthly guild meetings at the Seymour Center.
Let our librarians know what resources you’d like to see in the library! Feel free to send along an email to recommend an item. We would be happy to consider your suggestions when adding to our collection.
